All CarterSafari reusable market totes are made from empty grain bags, collected from farms and breweries around the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  After cleaning them, I turn them into reusable market totes. My mission is to alleviate plastic waste and facilitate the transition away from single-use plastic. 

Few towns and cities accept #5 woven plastic for recycling, as it jams up most recycling equipment. In an effort to reduce plastic garbage buildup and plastic incineration, I up-cycle this durable resource to be used again. With many communities phasing out single-use plastic bags in retail environments, my products alleviate two problems, recycling and market carry-out.
